What is Appaman? 
Appaman is a New York kids' clothing brand, founded in Brooklyn in 2003 and known for slim, European-cut tailoring, boys' suits, and winter coats. We design clothing for boys and girls in sizes 2T to 16, made for real kid life, from picture day to the playground. Learn more about Appaman.

Appaman is designed in New York City. Orders ship from our warehouse in New Jersey.

Where can I buy Appaman?
You can shop our full collection at appaman.com, and we sell through many retailers across the US and Canada. Use our store locator to find one near you.

Does Appaman sell on Amazon?
Yes, you can find Appaman on Amazon. For the full collection, the newest styles, and our rewards program, shop at appaman.com.

Can I try something on?
We don't have our own retail store, but many retailers across the US and Canada carry Appaman. Find one with our store locator.

Sizing and Fit

What sizes does Appaman carry?
Appaman carries sizes 2T to 16. Most everyday styles for boys and girls go up to size 14, and our boys' suiting and many coats go up to size 16. Each product page shows the sizes available for that style.

How do I know what size to order?
Go by measurements, not just age. Measure your child's height, chest, and waist and compare them to our size chart, or see the girls' size chart. If your child is between sizes, we recommend sizing up. Our 2T bottoms are made with room for diapers.

Does Appaman run true to size?
Appaman has a slim, European cut, so it fits closer to the body than many American brands. If your child is between sizes, or has a sturdier build, size up. Relaxed pieces like sweatshirts and joggers generally fit true to size.

Shipping

Does Appaman offer free shipping?
Yes. We offer free standard shipping on US orders of $75 or more.

How long does shipping take?
Orders ship Monday through Friday from our New Jersey warehouse, within 1 to 3 business days of being placed. All US orders ship by ground. See shipping and returns for full details.

Do you ship to Canada?
Yes, we ship to Canada. International orders are charged in US dollars, and your card issuer converts the amount automatically. Shipping options and costs are shown at checkout.

Returns and Exchanges

What is Appaman's return policy?
You can return items bought on appaman.com within 21 days of purchase. Items must be unworn, unwashed, and unaltered, with the original tags and packaging. Refunds using our return label have a $9.99 shipping and restocking fee, while exchanges and returns for store credit ship free in the US. Read the full return policy.

How do I start a return or exchange?
Start your return or exchange through our returns portal. You'll need your order number and email address.

Can I return sale items?
Items marked Final Sale, and items bought at 40% off or more, can't be returned or exchanged. See our sale terms for details.

What if my item arrives damaged or defective?
Appaman offers a one-year warranty on manufacturing defects for items bought on appaman.com. Email support@appaman.com with your proof of purchase, a description of the issue, and photos.

Sales, Discounts, and Rewards

Does Appaman have sales?
Yes. We hold seasonal sales throughout the year; shop current markdowns in our sale collection. Final Sale items and items discounted 40% or more can't be returned.

How can I get a discount?
Sign up for texts to get 15% off your first full-price order, or join our email list for 10% off. Discount codes can't be combined, can only be used once, and exclude our Core Collection.

Does Appaman have a rewards program?
Yes. Appaman Rewards members earn points on every purchase and can redeem them for discounts, plus get early access to sales and member-only promotions. Use the same email address for every order so your points stay in one account.

Do you sell gift cards?
Yes. Appaman gift cards are available online and make an easy gift when you don't know a child's size.

Care and Quality

Are Appaman suits machine washable?
Yes. Most Appaman suits, including our Mod Suits, are machine washable. Shop our machine-washable suiting, and always check the care label on each piece.

How do I care for my Appaman clothes and coats?

Will a sold-out item be restocked?
Items in our Core Collection restock regularly. Most other styles are limited-edition releases, so once they sell out, we usually don't restock them.
